Meet Your Chauffeur
15,000 journeys taught me what hospitality really means.

Hello, I’m Suraj. Before I founded Suberide, my career spanned more than twenty years in telecommunications, a job that took me all across Western Canada and the country. Driving those highways, I fell in love with the open road and the beauty of this land.
When the pandemic hit, I was laid off and returned home to Toronto. I have never been someone who could just sit on the couch and wait for help. One freezing winter night, I ordered takeout. When the delivery driver arrived shivering at my door, I invited him inside for a minute to warm up and handed him a good tip. I asked him why he was out in that bitter cold. He looked at me and said, “Because it’s an honest living, and I can take care of myself.” That short conversation changed my life.
- 15,000+ Completed Trips: Experienced, defensive driving across every GTA highway and winter condition.
- Complete Discretion: Total privacy for your personal space, calls, and business conversations.
- Reliable Punctuality: Always early at your pickup location, ready when you are.
From bringing warm meals to driving 15,000 passengers.
The very next day, I signed up to deliver food. During those dark lockdown months, delivering meals to families stuck at home gave me purpose. The relief and gratitude on people’s faces meant the world to me, and it earned me an honest living without draining my savings.
When the city reopened and people started traveling again, I transitioned into driving passengers. Over the last few years, I have completed more than 15,000 trips across the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario.
Why Suberide had to be built.
Sitting behind the wheel for 15,000 journeys opened my eyes to how broken the ride-share industry has become. It has turned into a numbers game. Vehicles are dirty, drivers rush recklessly through traffic, and passengers are treated like cargo being shuffled from point A to point B. There is no customer service, no care, and no pride.
Every day, I listened to my passengers. People told me what they really wanted: they just want to be treated with dignity, driven safely in a spotless vehicle, and looked after by someone they can trust. You are not just paying for four wheels moving down a road. You are paying for peace of mind.
I did not start Suberide to compete with giant app companies. I started Suberide to bring real hospitality back to private travel.
The Four Pillars that hold up Suberide.
Just like the four legs of a sturdy table, my company stands on four core beliefs that never bend:
- Equal Respect (Dignity for Every Passenger): It does not matter who is in my back seat. It could be the Prime Minister of Canada, an international business executive, or my next-door neighbor going for groceries. I never judge or treat people differently based on status. Everyone receives the same spotless car and the same warm respect.
- Spotless & Safe (Cleanliness & Defensive Driving): Driving is a responsibility, not a race. The vehicle is sanitized, vacuumed, and hand-washed daily. On the road, you will experience calm, defensive driving with zero tailgating, sudden braking, or rushing.
- Total Transparency (Fair Pricing & No Surges): I started Suberide to give people what they pay for. An honest living built on honest, upfront promises. No surge pricing when it snows, no hidden fees, and what car you see is what arrives.
- Service Beyond the Curb (True Hospitality): Real hospitality does not end when the car stops. I step out to open your door, handle your luggage, and ensure you are safely inside your home, hotel, or terminal before I pull away.
